The Dashboard
The above image is a screen shot of the Dashboard, a shared Google spreadsheet created and maintained by Bill, K8BDR. It provides a real time history of the net as it proceeds and is especially useful to our net control operators. In addition to the net’s verse reading assignments, it provides a record of comments made during the second half or “go round” portion of the net. Also provided is a messaging system as you can see on the right. This tool is accessible using any Internet browser.

Remote Access Over Internet to Several Stations
Several of our operators use software from remotehams.com to make their stations accessible remotely over the Internet. The client portion of this software is freely downloadable. To use it one must install the software and also register as a user via the remotehams.com website. Listening to a station can be accessed without special permission although use of a remote for transmit requires approval by the station owner.
